Racial inequity/inequality

Racial inequity or inequality refers to the unequal distribution or disproportionate access of goods and services, life chances, and rights between different racial groups. Racial inequity prevents large numbers of African Americans from receiving equal or even adequate access to resources and opportunities. On college campuses, racial inequity means that the numbers of white students who receive faculty support and access to special programs and scholarships far outnumber what black students receive.
